Fuck, 5 hours of play on 40 degrees. They should ban that. Even they spoke it will be forbidden to play on that heat.

Bravo, fanta. Gremo, fanta!!!
He was always a fighter.

Finally we saw really "aussie" atmosphere.

I have no idea how they managed that, it was insane. Hell, I don't know how the fans stood it.

My head burning when I play on 25 degrees. Ok, they are in alot better condition than me, but when you are just walking on that heat (AND on asphalt on which they play) it's really too much for you.

Yeah, that's right. No way I would be in front of sun on that heat. In shadow it's ok.

I was super concerned about their sunburn. Will they sue the Australian Open when they get skin cancer? Or will they hit back that perhaps the players should have applied sunscreen?

According to slovenian media, Kavcic fell into some kind of uncoscious state after the match.

Translation:
Blaž Kavčič was immediately after the match fell into the physical shock and is currently under anesthesia. Doctors immediately take action and make sure that it will be O.K. read and vs support Blaise as faster recovering after a difficult fight.

Thank God. One less australian to steal spots on televised courts.

I was there, it was pretty unbearable, I actually went and sat in the airconditioning in Hisense for a hour just to cool down after the match, I can't imagine playing in it. Really the organisers need to take a good look at themselves, the heat rule had to be in force on a day like this, it's just simply not fair to players to play on a day like this, that's why we have lights. Absurd, I was lucky i wasn't too sunburnt today.....

Good match, great fight from both players, i feel Duckworth is the better player and a huge chance but Kavcic did very well today, some of his serving on the big points and late in the 5th was unreal 9especially after badly he served in the first).

I just hope Ducky can start producing some results on the challenger circuit, he has a nice game, just needs to work ona few things here and there.

They should make lights on all court and televised them. That would be better for all of us. I don't know why that is such a big deal.

Duckworth asked for the trainer at 7-7 and was told to wait until the change of ends. He lost that game pretty easily and went straight to the sideline. do you think Fakervic or Fixarevic get refused for treatment before their opponents serve? Do you thin they even have to wait until the game is over? Cheating and gamesmanship pisses me off, but nothing pisses me off more than the double standards for the top guys and the rest, especially because Duckworth and Kavcic fought harder and needed this win far more than the pampered, rich top players
