no way, Karlovic's serve (at least in the past until recently) was one of the best in the game. the Smyczek return is not even probably top 50 level yet you think it should be able to break down Ivo's serve? doesn't say anything great about Smyczek, this match, just shows that Karlovic is slowing down and unfortunately losing potency with the only weapon he ever had (besides maybe volleying just based on the height)
