it would be such a nice day if Ferrer loses in Round 1...

Exactly. He thrives on catching far more talented shotmakers (like Rochus) on their off days/injured/tired/insert random mitigating circumstance to progress through draws and keep his ranking high.

Ferrer sometimes has difficulties in his opening rounds at majors. So Rochus can take a set, but nothing more, imo.

even though I like Ollie, he stands absolutely no chance against a grinder like Ferrer. 3 easy sets for Ferrer it is.

as for the vulturing thing some kind soul on Reddit calculated % of players ranked 5-15's ranking points that came from non-mandatory tournaments

Berdych 26%
Tsonga 29%
Ferrer 33%
Tipsarevic 34%
Gasquet 36%
Isner 37%
del Potro 37%
Cilic 44%
Almagro 46%
Raonic 52%
Monaco 60%

Okay, maybe there is a small point in Monaco's case, though ranking system prevents severe abuse, but there is NONE in Ferrer's- del Potro, Cilic, Raonic are all worse offenders.
But this just shows how well they beat lower ranked players- last year, Tsonga entered the most 250s of any player in the top 10, he just couldn't win them!

I honestly don't know if its trolling or not, I think I'd actually prefer that it was so at least it means your not serious with all this hate and might be a better person in real life. Back to the match Ferrer will be the obvious favourite and shouldn't have many problems with Rochus but he's going face some big challenges later on getting past guys like Baghdatis and Nishikori who have the potential to knock him over.
I'm not sure they actually watch the matches. They don't need to watch the match to post the comments they post
"disgusting result", "better player lost", etc.

I agree with you (I can't understand the possibility of the existance of haters that are not trollers (trolling can be funny, but I think that it is only occasional), more in a sport like tennis, where respect is one of the most important principles). There is a potential match between Ferrer and Nishikori on R16 that looks interesting: Nishikori aiming to defend his QF on Australian Open 2012 and Ferrer trying to prove his consistency on Grand Slams (he has a great opportunity to reach the SF, as his worst opponents can be Nishikori on R16 and Tipsarevic or Almagro on QF).
