Well I won't have that much money, so need some where that is quite cheap to get to, maybe Vienna could be a better option, or even Basel as I have a feeling Djoker will play Basel this year, but no Murray for obvious reasons

Basel seems a good choice. Delpo won last year so he should enter again and I wouldn't be surprised at all if at least one of Djokovic and Murray entered, especially since Federer won't be entering apparently and the organizers should splash some money to get another big name to replace him.

Great stuff, I know Djokovic pulled out quite far in advance last year, and maybe he wants to go there this year to make it up to organizers. Problem with Murray is he pulled out in 2011, and wanted to go in 2012 to make it up to the organizes, they had arranged a special British thing for him and every thing, and he pulled out last minute. Not sure if he's in their good books lol.

I had a look at the prices for last year's tournament and well....I thought: they'll manage without me

Madrid used to be a great tournament...with everyone there, very cheap too!! Until they changed location, calendar and added the wta shit (sorry.... not a wta fan ) Still, it's cheaper than Basel I think.

Well I think I'll have roughly 600£ budget, including tickets, don't care so much about expensive later rounds.

Cheapest tickets for monday will be around 65 euros / 55 pounds...which is a lot.....

and then there's the fact that Switzerland is an expensive country for the rest of us Europeans...
but, it might be worth it all in the end, who knows

Thanks, very expensive, and no doubt that hotels in Switzerland cost a lot also. I'll have to weight up my options when I have the money .

I also agree with Paris. I'd bet my money that the top guys won't play or lose early, until they move the dates. I'd like to go to Basel someday.

He was really friendly and very surprised when Roger fans asked for a picture with him but I told him that we like him as well

About your discussion regarding Basel:

When Roger will play there he will get the Monday match so Del Po won't start before Tuesday.

I'm curious if the tournament director will invite Murray again after he hasn't played there the last 2 years or if he is willing to give more money to Djokovic which Brennwald has denied the last year.

I guess it's pretty safe to say though that Del Po will be there and try to defend his title
