Default Chennai QF: Tipsarevic beats Soeda 62 64

no thread

Well Janko played well and outclassed his opponent . Too bad he got broken at the start of set 2 or the score would have been more lopsided than it is

Of course there's no thread. MTF posters like talking about Janko only when he loses or retires, not when he's winning. Anyway, I would say he's the favorite to win the title, but I don't want to jinx him, so I'll say it's Berdych. Anyway

Saw the match, good and solid tennis from Janko, seems really fit and ready to go. Soeda has decent strokes, but that doesn't make it against tops, specially if you have a bad serve like he has.

Aw, crap, Janko is screwed now that Berdych is out. He will never, ever win a tournament where he is massive favorite.
