Yeah I did and I saw Gilles doing his usual thing. He struggled early in the match to get a feel on things and overcome his nerves, and admittedly Hewitt was playing well too, but once he did, he was firmly in control. The end was just a combination of nerves and bad luck for Gilles but he overcame it. Hardly pathetic. Just the ebbs and flows of a tennis match.

Some people on twitter are saying the journalist Eric Salliot confirmed that Gilles is going to have a second child. Congrats Gilles (if it's true )!

I left with Gilles down two sets to love and I was nearly sure he would lose, so this is a great surprise to me. Congrats on your 1st win from two sets down Gilles and on your 2nd child if it's true. With his current level he can lose to anyone so I'll just enjoy any win right now.

Congrats Gilles. Well, we've speculated it for months, so I hope it is true . Due date should be near, we'll find out soon.

I follow Eric Salliot and I didn't see a tweet from him on this. I do hope it's true, a littler brother/sister for Timothée would be great. Congrats to them!

I think Mike said someone other than Eric Salliot tweeted that, maybe it's confirmed by Salliot off the record. Like I said before, Frenchies seem very respectful of their tennis players' privacy. They really don't go on the record to say anything, not until the baby is born then they will make it a news.

On L'Equipe, De Witt's itw post match.

Gilles is playing mixed with Alize Cornet. I'm not sure it's a great idea but it's nice how much she says she likes Gilles.

Roger!

Yeah, I don't think Cuevas should be a problem but who knows, hopefully he improves. He plays 3rd up tomorrow on Court 2.

Much better after the first set, 54 winners in the match. Likely will be much tougher next match. Congrats Gilles!
