Yes, I have to agree this is his best match since Marseille, which felt like a decade ago. Tipsy did bring some good out of him, as much as I dislike Tipsy, he's rather useful. Now, I can't really bring myself to cheer against Nole...but Gilles will have great advantage if Haas comes thru tonite (little recovery time for old man Haas). But as much as I thought Haas was fantastic in his last match, I can't see him beating Nole. So good luck to Gilles tomorrow. Allez.
It's no that hard really.. but you can always cheer against his girlfriend then.
Me no jealous type , and Sarah Foster is more annoying . But little Valentina is pretty angelic, I can cheer for her. True is, I probably won't watch, my hockey team is playing tonite . They are fighting for supremacy, so they need my full attention.
Tommy Haas is currently up a set and a break on Djokovic. I can't root against Djokovic because, like Simon, he's one of my favs, but having said that, if Haas takes him out, Simon has a much better chance against him than Djokovic. Furthermore, if he were then able to beat Haas, he'd have to face either Ferrer or Melzer in the semis. Probably Ferrer but at least it wouldn't be the usual Federer or Murray. He'd have an actual shot at another Masters 1000 final.
I know i'm getting way ahead of myself but that scenario is very possible at the moment.
What a huge break and opportunity for Gilles now. It's still going to be tough. Especially since Haas looked amazing tonight, but that's not normal for him. He was just in the zone tonight and Djokovic was pretty bad with a lot of UEs.
Still, going from having to potentially play the #1 to an much older #18 is a lot better.
