Yep, I watched Kevin destroying Nieminen but still I've seen Kevin in this mode before. Then he just fades away when meeting somebody he always loses too. Understand that Gilles/Kevin have never met but considering how Gilles handles Berdych, I am positive.

Anyway, I've never worried about Gilles until he plays Jo, Reechie, Benny or even Benoit (or most of the Frenchies).

No No. You misunderstood me. I wasn't referring to you not seeing Anderson. I was referring to you not seeing Gilles. If you had seen how Gilles has been playing this tournament, you wouldn't be so quick to dismiss the real possible threat that Kevin will pose to him today.

Gilles has been playing horribly this tournament so far. I mean some of the worst stuff he's played in a long time. The match against Paire was probably the worst match of the whole tournament thus far. At least when it comes to players of that ranking and caliber. Unless Gilles does a complete 180 today and starts playing more like himself, I don't see him winning this match at all. The only reason he won against Paire and Lorenzi was because they basically sunk to his level and then even lower, but I don't see Anderson doing that. Sure Gilles is awesome and a real nightmare for big serving big guys like Berdych when he's on, but that Gilles hasn't shown up to BNP yet unfortunately.

It's Paire ("l'Avignonnais") speaking. He was without his coach in IW and can't wait to meet up with him in Miami for a debriefing. Did you hear about Wino? he took a temporary leave from the FFT to coach Gael for a few months. :/

Oh. I knew there's some wishful thinking on my part there . I'm not used to ppl always being referred to by where they were born . But anyway, no luck for his fans, no coach for Gilles. Wino is taken . Good for Gael, I guess.

I missed the first set bcos of a meeting, but reading the stat now, I'm not sure if I want to watch the 2nd . Gilles' messy hair and haggard look fits his play level atm so well, he just look down right depressing. I want to give this poor man a hug.
