Default Are the stars starting to align for a Murray CYGS in 2013?

Nadal out of AO, Murray would probably be joint favourite with Djokovic here. Murray got the wood over him mentally last year even though he lost.

FO, anyones game. Murray took it to Nadal in 2011 Semi even though he lost in straights. No way Nadal will be good enough to win FO this year. IF he even makes it.

Wimbledon, it is undoubtedly his time to take home SW19.

And USO, will be hard for him to defend, but he has won here.

So last slam he won his first. Now he's CYGS candidate? Dunno about that- About 75-80% chance that it derails already in AO.

Mugray chance to win FO is facing Troicki in finals and even then it would be 50/50.

I think I'll need to hear Sapeod's opinion before I answer this question

No way he's winning FO if djokovic is around. And even if fed will be almost 32 this year, I don't like Murray's chances against him either.

Murray is going to win 5 slams in a row? Nope, his chances are like 0.00001%. Of course Murray has very realistic chances at AO, SW19 and USO but to win the French Open would take a huge effort. Nadal being out helps but Ferrer, Federer and Djokovic inparticular will stay provide huge challenges for him there. However he has been injured at the French Open the last two years so it will be interesting to see how he gets on this season.

no way he's winning any slams without assistance from freak weather with djoko, delpo and fed still around, heck even vulture ferrer will take him out at RG, and berdshit is also capable of kicking him out at any grand slams

CYGS? Has Murray won a clay tournament ever in his life? can't remember but I'm pretty sure he has not. just trying to make some sense, but this thread is kinda silly. Mighty Fed failed, Rafa, Novak, and pretty much everyone else failed to do it.

Can we try to be objective here?
