Agreed. He must capitalise on Fed becoming Olderer and the questionable fitness of Rafa in order to assert his dominance. No more losses to Isner would be a good start

Re: Your expectations for Djokovic in 2013
He will win 3 slams, failing at Wimbledon which Murray will win.

That's almost unbelievable, 4M1000 and a slam before RG... Then, who knows?

Almost unbelievable is right. In fact, noone has ever managed to win the AO - IW - Miami - MC combo. It would be a record in itself. Talk about an impressive start to the season if this happens!

Hmmm, no. Maybe he could have done it in 2011, but that chance is forever gone now. It can only happen if Rafa retires or gets soderlized again.
I will be happy if he defends AO, even if he doesn't win another title during the season.

Re: Your expectations for Djokovic in 2013
Lotta Noletards here, but back in the day everybody remembered Nole went the majority of his career without defending a title. Everyone knew he would disappoint in 2012 defending his titles from 2011, but everybody also knows expecting him to defend AO again is an impossible task. I expect a surprise winner at the AO this year. After that, tough to see him winning any slams, though if Nadal remain MIA, Fed remains old, and Murray remains Murray he'll probably inherit one or two slams just by existing in the draw with a mediocre level of play.

Theoretically impossible

Re: Your expectations for Djokovic in 2013
It all depends on Nadal.
AO should be a lock for him, he needs to make that his dominant slam and rack up 5-6 of em before he's done

Weren't you the one claiming Federer's 2013 season would be worse than 2012 with 100% certainty? I'd be quiet about theoretical possibilities if I were you...unless you've had a crash course since yesterday. Never too late to improve. And in this instance you're actually right - whether by design or luck I can't say.

Re: Your expectations for Djokovic in 2013
With Federer visibly bothered by the aging process , Nadal out for months lacking the match routine and Murray being Murray, Djokovic should easily grab every bigger title held on slow/medium-paced hc up to Monte Carlo.
I think his RG chances are quite high this year given Nadal's long absence.
