Richard Gasquet's Grand Slam R4 Win/Loss Record.
I'm sure some of you have noticed this but it stands at 1/13.
The only win came against Tsonga at Wimbledon 2007, but even then Tsonga was a wildcard ranked 110 at that tournament.
Losses are to Nalbandian, Ginepri, Hewitt, Robredo, Tsonga, Murray x3, Monfils, Djokovic, Ferrer x2, and Mayer.
Of course he's not been expected to win most of those matches considering who he has come up against but more than a fair few of them have been more than winnable.
He's also made more R16 of grand slams than Del Potro (10) and Tsonga (13) which is pretty shocking considering one has a grand slam while the other has made a grand slam final and several more semis.
So the big reason is why is his record at that stage of Grand Slams as big of a joke as it is?

He is pretty consistent but he doesn't have the weapons to defeat the TOP players.

Because he sucks, simply doesn't possess the talent to go further. He is also a mental midget, which obviously doesn't help.

#talented
It's the ceiling of his potential, nothing more to it. He's actually not had many injury problems during the years or anything, he's just not good enough to go further.
That and running into titans of the game like Mayer, Ginepri, Boredo and Ferrer among others

Lack of firepower, defence, fitness and mental strength.
He's all finesse, but you can't succeed in the current conditions with just finesse.

funnily enough 2 other guys who have an impressive record of losing in the 4th round.
and Malisse. and Boetsch to a lesser extent.
though Gasquet's 4th round record will forever be overshadowed by Juan Antonio Marín's 1st round record - what a absolute legend. I mean seriously, how: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Juan_Antonio_Mar%C3%ADn

Re: Richard Gasquet's Grand Slam R4 Win/Loss Record.
Roddick letting Gasquet beat him at Wimbledon that year...
His play style takes some blame, I think. He plays too far behind the baseline, but doesn't have the tool to be a proper grinder or a retriever. Instead, he simply facilitates his opponents' efforts to step in and push him around.
Add that to the fact that he's not very physically fit, and mentally, he doesn't show much fight.
By the time he's in the R16, most players are going to comfortably be able to take it to him.
