I'm ashamed to say, as someone with Irish heritage and someone who lived in Ireland for a short time at a young age, that I never really was that keen to visit Ireland in the recent past. My father persuaded me to go with him a couple of years ago, and it was brilliant. I say that as someone who was underage at the time, so most of the fun was not to be had, but it was still great.
Definitely recommend going. Nobody knows how to have a good time like the Irish.

Here, in a week time, we went from setting the lowest high temperature, the daily high below 10°C/50°F to breaking high temperature with the daily high over 27°C/80°F.

I should be going to Ireland in about 3 months. Do you know any places I should visit while there?

I really want to go to Ireland My parents went two summers ago and loved it. I know someone who lives in Dublin and would be a blast to hang out with so I don't know what is keeping me really

Have you booked any of it yet? So do you know where exactly you're going, but are just wondering what to do once you're there?
Also, how long will you be there for?
I can recommend some places if you tell me where you're going!

Did they have high expectations when they went? I knew of Ireland's great reputation for certain things, but I wasn't looking forward to it because it didn't look that fancy. However, I was pleasantly shocked with how good it was once I was there!
Definitely want to go back, this time to drink lots!

I think they did! They weren't too excited about the food but then my dad had some type of soup in some pub that now he is obsessed with figuring out how to replicate except for that he has no clue what it was called and isn't sure what was in it but apparently it was some extremely excellent vegetable soup.

I´ll be there for ten days. I pretty much know my schedule: 3 days in Cork, 4 days in Dublin and 3 days in Belfast. I´m looking for a way to squeeze Galway in there, but I´m afraid I won´t succeed in doing that. Yes, I am wondering if you have some suggestions for me of things to do there. If those things are related to beer in any way, shape or form, even better

This may sound like a dumb question to the Americans here, but I will explain after the answer the reason for my question:
Don't congressman get protection with super duper agents 24/7? How many congressman are there?

No. They don't have secret service protection.
