I think i am in love with Jack Kerouac. He makes writing seem so easy.

I'm glad you ignored my advice then.
Maye you'll like William Burroughs and Allen Ginsburg too. They,re of the Beat Generation too.
Was Burroughs the guy who killed his wife by trying to shoot an object she was balancing on her head? I've got to look this up now.
Yes. Joan Vollmer. Credited with being the muse of the Beat Generation. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joan_Vollmer

Joanh Vollmer Adams Burroughs was seminal in the creation of the Beat revolution; indeed the fires that stoked the Beat engine were started with Joan as patron and muse. Her apartment in New York was a nucleus that attracted many of the characters who played a vital role in the formation of the Beat; ... Brilliant and well versed in philosophy and literature, Joan was the whetstone against which the main Beat writers — Allen, Jack, and Bill — sharpened their intellect. Widely considered one of the most perceptive people in the group, her strong mind and independent nature helped bulldoze the Beats toward a new sensibility.

When I read about people like that my life seems very dull, but I couldn't live like that. She was killed at age 28, but had been through so much by then.

I know right? I have been reading some stuff about the Beat generation these last few days. If you take away the drugs, sexual promiscuity and reduce the alcohol intake to about 20%, I identify a lot with them. ok now that I have written this down I realize we don't have all that much in common
But I know you understand What I mean. And Kerouac, he makes it really easy to sympathize with him and his quest... The the pragmatism in his writing is something I appreciate very much.
Now I don't know What to read next. I still have Follet, but now I am not in the mood. I know I will love the book, but if I start it now I won't appreciate it as much as it deserves.

Naked Lunch is considered one of the best beat novels. I've never read it, but you might like it.
Also for travel porn you must check out national geographic traveler. http://travel.nationalgeographic.com...eler-magazine/
I have national geographic on my tablet and its much better than the print edition. There are cool videos and the photos are sensational.

I check NG traveler often! and I like them on facebook, so I get notifications weekly or so.
I have been thinking, and I realized I automatically and without realizing it, slowed down my travel plans. I am not travelling as often now. This damn crisis. But it also has to do with the fact that have a huge trip coming up next year, and I need to same all my cents for that one.
I like your new avy.
How was Christmas?
I am bak in Coimbra, and I am sick of it already. Study

This is an exho so it's really hard to tell. But Nole looked like he took it seriously unlike he did Kooyong a few years ago.

Still, he demolished Federer and Ferrer last year as well, leading us to think he would replicate 2011. We´ll have to hold our horses, no trends can be ascertained until the AO.

He did go on and won AO
I am not predicting how Nole will play in 2013 but just that he looks good.

I missed it. You're going to have to give me alerts!
Looks like I can cheer whole heartedly for Nole for a while longer.

starting at 11am tomorrow on Tennis Channel (tape delay). It will likely the Ferrer/Janko match first but I am not 100% sure. I won't be around at that time so here's your alert
