I paid $13 for a cocktail in Connecticut and it sucked and I already hate getting cocktails when I'm out because it's so much more expensive but it was a friend's birthday and I splurged on it. Never again. Only at the London place. Otherwise I just drink beer
$15 I can have fish and chips plus soda/pop/soft drink in Village Inn here with taxes Tips will be extra though.

It takes a mature young man to be able to share this with us! It's an indication that you are dealing well with this situation. I hope your family is too! And you have your vfamily now!

We are lucky that he's diagnosed when he was 5. He also has ADHD. Asperger does not affect his study but social situation is extremely tough and that's one of the reasons that he is in depression for the last 3 years. It's very hard because most depression medication does not help (as the brain chemistry is different for Asperger people than others).

I have no idea how far he's on the spectrum. People who know nothing or very little about Autism won't notice his difference. But for people who know, he is very obvious.

Joe, do you know people with Asperger are usually have higher cognitivity? There are books by adults like you that they were diagnosed with Asperger after they reach adulthood. Reading those biographies may help.

If you have more questions, you are welcome to ask me here or PM me!

Wow sorry to hear about the depression. I'm lucky to of never experienced serious long term depression and I hope I never fall into it. Thanks for sharing this with me Lee

That's a tough situation to deal with -- I mean getting this diagnosis so late. That would make me pretty angry. But then, there's no way to change what has happened. I think it's probably a help though isn't it to know what has been affecting you? Makes you less of a mystery to yourself and helps you with situations in the future. You seem to be pretty aware that you shouldn't put yourself in certain situations. That's something a lot of people don't figure out for a long time.

At least you have a diagnosis. I'm just weird with no diagnosis or excuse.
