Kraftwerk Ticket Fiasco
http://news.sky.com/story/1024428/ar...st-tate-modern
This is a personal rant, I apologise in advance of it.
As a huge fan of electronic music, a huge fan of Kraftwerk, I'm thoroughly disappointed at the lack of organisation of the ticket retail for these series of gigs. Today, I was trying literally all day to get tickets for their first night at the TATE (Autobahn) and had no luck whatsoever. It was pretty clear the online booking system was broken, so I resorted to using the booking telephone number, and it was engaged every time.

The Tate was not immediately available for comment, as the general phone number was also engaged.

Sorry about this George. As someone who habitually gets pissed off over such things, I understand how you feel. Hope you manage to get the tickets soon.
(PS. I didn't know you like electronic music. )

My sympathies :/ Saw/heard them back in 2006, definitely a unique, multisensory aesthetic experience.
(I swear Ralf Hütter even moved in sync with the music at one point, he's getting all soft).

I'd actually pay good money to see Bill Bailey do a Kraftwerk-themed standup comedy show.
