Re: I can be the best player ever: Tomic
20 years old, never reached an ATP final, ranked outside the top 50.
Claims he can be the best player ever.
Seems legit.

Re: I can be the best player ever: Tomic
At least it is something even if it is baseless and nothing. I mean people complain about the youngsters being utter shit, so at least one would think it could only get better from here on out. At least he has the arrogance (which is what all top players have, regardless of what you may think) to try to put himself out there, even if this brings negativity.

I think posts like this should be a banable offence.
I'm sure I'm at least 2% stupider for having read it.

Nole never said anything close to "being the best ever". It's good to have goals, but this is really over the top.

Re: I can be the best player ever: Tomic
well if all else fails he could try stand-up comedy, seems to have quite a talent for that aswell
But knowing B-Nard he'll probably phone in his performance or show up on stage drunk as hell.

Agreed. Point is, you should have realistic goals, and achievable goals. Nole's goal at that time was to get far in a grand slam, maybe even win one. His dream was to be world nr. 1.
Tomic really seems to think he is destined to be the greatest ever, which is just delusional. He should have short term goals first. Reach top 30, get to an ATP-final, win an ATP-final, that kind of stuff.

Tomug couldn't even be the best player on women's tour, let alone men. What a delusional jester he is.

Re: I can be the best player ever: Tomic
this Tomug suffers from delusion of grandeur apparently. Not even the best in his country, can only dream of being the best ever with his little talent that he has and hard work that he puts in he's on his way of course.

What's wrong with his approach? Ash Ketchum's goal is to be the best, but despite all of his goody behavior, he's made one semifinal in like five or so attempts!
Bernard made the Wimbledon quarters as a part-time tennis player and full-time troll. Legend.

Hahaha, "Fuck tradition!"
So we now know that Tomic hates Wimbledon, yet he made the quarters there.
Just imagine what he can do at a place he likes!
