I am afraid not. The same question was raised during AO and IW. If you're alive Saturday then you're out of the coming Challenger/Future in all respects, also the LE and ALT ones.

I see, even if the tournament starts the day after I go out, right? I see it fair enough. Finally I won my Miami match so this issue is no longer important, but good to know it since other players who can be out of Miami today can ask the same question.

Thank you very much. Greetings

Good night managers. Sorry if I have making a trouble, but I have a problem in Miami to question us?

We are playing against valac222/juakos17 (HUN/CHI) in Miami on a two day round. Yesterday juakos17 didn't send to the correct doubles manager (MathMul) and send only to singles manager (Dinkulpus). juakus17 isn't playing against MathMul, so he did must send to him.

Here is the last edition of the OOP:

Quote:
Please send your picks to both Dinkulpus (Singles) and MathMul (Doubles)
All picks count for third round in singles and second round in doubles, each day 1/2
Deadline to send picks is 11 AM local time / 4 PM CET
I remember that in another tournaments if this happen the picks are invalid.

So, today morning the diffs are posted as below, without counting juakos17 yesterday picks. After verified that my partner also didn't send today, the managers accepted juakos17's yesterday picks, saying that the yesterday OOP was changed.

Quote:
23:11 | (5) rogeda/Filipe XIV (BRA/BRA) vs. (Q) valac222/juakos17 (HUN/CHI) (SR 14:9) - No Pick, TURSUNOV, JANOWICZ, No Pick, QUERREY, BEDENE, No Pick, No Pick, No Pick, No Pick, No Pick, No Pick, No Pick, No Pick, No Pick, No Pick vs. HARRISON, TURSUNOV, BAUTISTA AGUT, SIMON, ALMAGRO, POSPISIL, MONFILS, DOLGOPOLOV, FOGNINI, CILIC, ISNER, WAWRINKA, RAONIC, BERDYCH, NADAL
SR Differences: HARRISON 2-1 v. HARRISON 2-0, No Pick v. HARRISON 2-0, TURSUNOV 2-1 v. TURSUNOV 2-0, No Pick v. ISTOMIN 2-1, No Pick v. BAUTISTA AGUT 2-0, No Pick v. SIMON 2-0, QUERREY 2-1 v. ALMAGRO 2-0, No Pick v. ALMAGRO 2-1, BEDENE 2-1 v. POSPISIL 2-0, No Pick v. POSPISIL 2-1, No Pick v. MONFILS 2-1, No Pick v. DOLGOPOLOV 2-1, No Pick v. 0-0, No Pick v. FOGNINI 2-0, No Pick v. CILIC 2-0, No Pick v. ISNER 2-0, No Pick v. WAWRINKA 2-0, No Pick v. RAONIC 2-0, No Pick v. BERDYCH 2-0, No Pick v. NADAL 2-0
The rules said in topic 3.3.2 that:

Quote:
- Picks must be sent to the correct manager, as instructed in the Order of Play. Picks sent to the wrong person will not be accepted, even if they’re sent to the person who posted the Order of Play.
- In case of missing players:
Is this correct? Why in another tournaments the picks sent to incorrect manager wasn't considered, and now they will be considered?

Thanks in advance and sorry my poor English guys.

before the first edition it was written that valac222/juakos17 should send only to dinkulpus.

Why?
because at the time when the OOP was posted, the match rogeda/Filipe XIV vs. Freak3yman84/MathMul was not decided yet.

Thanks for answer friend.

Where I can see this first edition? Send me the link ou a print please.

But for me this is not the central question. The question is why change the OOP if the change isn't valid? If only the original OOP is valid, so the OOP can't be changed. If the OOP is changed the players must respect this final OOP.

The FAQ in the rules said:

Quote:
6) I didn't read the instructions and sent the picks to the wrong person. Will my picks be accepted?
No. Players must read the instructions and send picks to the correct manager. The person who posts the OOP isn't necessarily the person who will be managing the tournament. And the tournament manager may ask for someone else to take over the event on a given day.

Another thing: in Miami's post http://www.menstennisforums.com/show...postcount=456:

Quote:
00:00 | (5) rogeda/Filipe XIV (BRA/BRA) vs. (Q) valac222/juakos17 (HUN/CHI) - Missing picks from juakos17
If juakos17's partner sent correctly to doubles manager why he didn't do the same?

For me juakos17's picks for day 1 are invalid. This is what the rules says, and was what happened in another tournaments. The final OOP is what is valid, and on it juakos17 should send your picks to doubles manager.

there is no such thing as final OOP, at the time when jukos was making picks he saw that he must send only to dinkulpus and so he did. I understand your disappointment, but why didn't you or your partner send for today?

well OOP was posted at 12:14 am valac222's time and edited at about 4 am so he probably saw the OOP already after the edition or like me just sent to both managers

there is no such thing like "final OOP" and in my opinion juakos17's picks are 100% valid. If you wanna blame someone then you can blame the manager for strange edition of the OOP

BUT
I'm not a board member so for official decision you will have to wait

I sent right after Math posted the OOP first version, and indeed it said that since his match wasn't ecided, his potential rivals should send only to the other manager. Once he updated it, he obviously didn't include himself. A proof of that I think could onlye be reached -if possible- by Mods or Admins.
Anyway, some of us might remember that indication.
