I agree. Borg's serve was much better than Nadal's and he was a better fast court player - Swedes used to play a lot indoors on wood, iirc. Lest anyone forget, Borg won '78 FO losing only 32 games.

To OP's question:

81 clay streak
7 RG titles
16 clay m1000

Let's expand...from hardest to easiest:

8 consecutive MC titles
81 clay streak
Total of 8 MC titles
7 RG titles
16 clay M1000
6 Rome titles
7 Barcelona titles

I actually have used some probability calculations to get the order, particularly between 81 streak vs 8 cons. MC titles.

...Also history seems to support that 8 consecutive titles is the hardest, since it's never been achieved before in history of tennis, by a man or a woman - while Evert did have a streak of 125 on clay and Tilden probably had 80+ streak on grass.

Barcelona is the last due to weakest field... while Rome is tricky to win multiple times since it kind of suits for all players but not especially great for any style/specialist.
