Re: DC F: Ferrer def. Berdych 6-2 6-3 7-5 (ESP 2-CZE 2)
Berdych moved poorly and had awful shot selection. probably the 7h+ he played over the past 2 days having an effect.
Ferrer was good but Berd simply wasn't in shape to make it competitive. Berdych gifted so many points. His % at the net probably ended up awful. Might even been below 50% indoors on a fast court. He was that awful

Re: DC F: Ferrer def. Berdych 6-2 6-3 7-5 (ESP 2-CZE 2)
NID. Demolition job like against Del Potro at Wimbledon. Ferrer proves yet again that he is miles ahead of Berdych, Del Potro and Tsonga on every single surface. And people who still think otherwise, please don't tell it to us anymore. Tell it to your therapist.
Fantastic display, David

Re: DC F: Ferrer def. Berdych 6-2 6-3 7-5 (ESP 2-CZE 2)
Ferrer played great, not even I'm going to deny that.
Berdych on the other hand was tired from the beginning as evident, played a shit match but still proud of the effort he put in and all the Czechs should be too.
Pretty much what I honestly expected after playing the last 2 days, thought he would get a set though.

Re: DC F: Ferrer def. Berdych 6-2 6-3 7-5 (ESP 2-CZE 2)
Great level of play !
I don't know what to say to people who keep on being blind at everything which concerns Ferrer and are not able to see his improvements on serve and backhand, and that his forehand is one of the best of the game.
In first two sets : 25 winners 15 unforced errors for Ferrer, 16 winners 16 unforced errors for Berdych.
And no it was not passing-shots : Berdych had only approached the net 10 times (only 1 more than Ferrer, and he had won 5 of those points)
Berdych fought very well, he finishes with more winners than unforced errors in a match against a player against whom it's hard to make winners and who played very well.
He also served very well for his standards whole week-end (11 aces in 3 sets, 67% first serves in first two sets) and that saved him a lot.
And for the tiredness argument : he was still playing very well in third set. He didn't look tired to me all match.

Re: DC F: Ferrer def. Berdych 6-2 6-3 7-5 (ESP 2-CZE 2)
I have to say i'm starting to like the guy more and more match after match.
He kinda starts doing a bit more on court, going at the net from time to time and doing the right things...
This humiliation of a top 10 player on his own home mid fast indoors hard court was spectacular.
Kudos and let the best man win. Me rooting for Nico.

not sure who does your stats but in the 3rd last time I checked Ferrer was 13/14 and Berdych was 7/18. Must have ended up something like that

  Daveeed! I love that forehand-striking!!
Credit to Berdych for keeping his attitude confident. But SO many forced errors!
Now Almagro vs Step-on-a-neck. I hate both players.

Re: DC F: Ferrer def. Berdych 6-2 6-3 7-5 (ESP 2-CZE 2)
Expected, Ferrer just to solid for Errorych. Actually after watching Berdyych here i think quicker court doesn´t neceseary means advantage for Berdych, yes he has firepower and big serve, but on slower courts he has more time for his groundstrokes, his deffense, and everytingh, here simply he was running left right and wasn´t able to get from deffense to offense so easy like on slower HC maybe.
