Disappointment of the Year
What player did you feel most disappointed for?
Personally I'd go for Jo's loss to Novak at Roland Garros. A few months ago I would have said Andy Murray's (him and Jo are my two favourite players) but in hindsight Jo hasn't been the same player since that loss so I edged towards that match.
(Let's try not to start an arguement about why you hate a certain player.)

Re: Disappointment of the Year
I feel most disappointed for Cedrik-Marcel Stebe. Got a lot of bad luck with draws this year, and he got so close to beating a lot of good players. Unfortunately his ranking has regressed loads.

Rafa...poor man, all that could've been without those dodgy knees.
Undisputed GOAT and a CYGS would've been a certainty

Re: Disappointment of the Year
I think the easiest answer is Nole, because of 2011.
But all in all, this year was pretty nice to most players I believe.
Nalbandian dissapointed, but then I learnt not to put any expectation on him.
Davydenko can't keep it up.
Tsonga didn't dissapoint me, it's just that the other players are definitively better than him, although I'd like Tsonga to be better than Berdych..

Re: Disappointment of the Year
The fact that Ferrer had an earlier exit than he should have had in USO and WTF.

Typical reaction from Rafatard. NID.

Re: Disappointment of the Year
Sapeod not being banned.
The same can be said for motorhead.
Murray winning a Slam.
Tipsarevic not retiring at least 100 times.
The Fog not winning a Slam.
Di Mauro not in Top 10.
Me still getting so much hate.

A player who can actually lose without being injured?

Re: Disappointment of the Year
Probably the new generation is the biggest one - Tomic getting out of top 50, Young getting out of top 150, Harrison not going anywhere, etc. Though Kei and Raonic did well, it's pretty slim as a whole.

Re: Disappointment of the Year
For me, Tsonga by far. The fact he managed to put Djokovic this far on his worst surface is incredible.
But overall I think the most gutting loss for any fanbase has to be Djokovic in the RG final (not for me I was actually laughing my ass off).

Yep, he knew he'll later have knee problems so he tanked the AO final just for his generousity. And even if he was tanking, the match went to 5th set, and he was leading it with a break.
