If you don't have exams during those weeks, take a two week holiday of sorts, get away from uni (book an hotel room or something) and change your sleeping patterns, easy

Re: Help: How to watch the AO with a roommate?
lure one of your mates into seducing her; that way she'll sleep over to your friend's place for the entire AO duration only to get brutally dumped the day after the final.

That would actually be a great idea if she wasn't in a girl's uni ie no guys around

Just stay awake all night and watch with headphones. Grand Slams are a special time where you should put up your middle finger to studies.

Re: Help: How to watch the AO with a roommate?
For a Yankee, AO is probably similar to what USO is for a Finn, matches start in early evening and last until the morning. How I watch the USO is that I start watching first matches of the day and continue until I gotta go to bed. And if I lived in da States, I'd probably do that with AO. But AO SFs and F are evening matches unlike in USO; I'd probably change my sleeping rhythm before semis so that I go to bed early and wake up for those matches.
But how not to disturb your roommate? I once shared a flat with another guy but we luckily had different rooms so at least watching couldn't disturb him, and he never complained about my alarm clock ringing in the middle of the night. But if you're watching TV/computer screen in the same room, that can be disturbing for some people. But if it really disturbed her, it'd show she's a tennis fan also, and if she didn't care about tennis, it wouldn't disturb her. But if she ain't a tennis fan, I'd be more worried about if she'd prevent going to sleep early. But if she didn't allow you to sleep in early evenings, don't then let her sleeep in early mornings.

I'd rather book the hotel room for myself.

If you referred to Lenders' post, he was talking about one who studies in a girl's uni. If that one was he, he'd be a lucky one.

Surely Grand Slam tennis > class ? Besides, you could still attend classes while living off campus for two weeks, book a (cheap) hotel room near the campus and you're set. Make up some excuse for your roomate I guess if you don't want her to think you're 'moving' because of her.

A guy in an all-girls uni probably couldn't care less about the Australian Open anyway He'd have plenty to keep himself busy
