We get drunk and get all red in the face. It's really embarrassing when I get all red after 1 drink.

Beer, while not great tasting, tastes better than hard liquor. It's also cheaper.
drink them more often then :P

yeah, i don't get that whole colour thing. mix with whatever soft drink you want?

haha, i have a couple of chinese/thai friends. always hilarious seeing them turn bright red

i don't really drink beer when i'm out, unless i'm in the pub watching football/tennis

think i'm prejudiced against beer; too many ****s with pints on a dance floor

Tonight I shall be drinking a bottle of Chateau d'Yquem 1983 to celebrate the purchase of my new flat. I'm pleased to say the wine was cheaper than the flat. Just.

I value my liver and my figure, thank you.

The norm was always dark+dark and light+light though. Maybe it's just my gimpy country.

You Brits/Europeans drink like crazy. I went for an Athlete gig and was surprised (to say the least) to see the lead singer drinking beer on stage between songs. It's like water here. I find it amazing.

I wish people would not bring their liquor to the dance floor if they're not gonna be able to keep it from spilling onto others. I've had shit spilled onto my clothes more than once and the last thing I wanna be doing at 5 am is to wash beer stains out of my white cardigan.

This thread deserves to be brought up after an epic new year, woke up on Jan 14, just before the unban - mainly Absolut and Russian Standard - stick in freezer, shots go down easy as fuck. You don't even feel it until after half a bottle is gone. Bad thing is, my liver felt like jelly after 2 weeks.

new year was just a house party for me- however the host bizarrely bought mostly crates of SKOL- which is a shit lager which tastes worse than fish and is worth about 50p a can

The worst shot I had was an 80% absinthe shot.

Too many great MTFers live too far away. There's so many good ones in Australia, I'd throw a house party for all of its MTFers

I've had 80%+ alcohol before, don't know what absinthe is, but mine was home distilled and warm (). It can strip the skin off your throat if you are not careful, which happened to me, had sore throat for a while after that

Hmm, my favorite beer is by far Blue Moon, but I love many Belgium style beers.. Also love good pale ales, tasty stuff.

Hard liquor is where my heart lies, however.. Tequila and vodka I takes shots of all the time, along with some good rum. I like some mixed drinks once a while, like a well made AMF and I obviously have to have all these cheesy mixed drinks like jolly rancher shots and stuff when I'm out clubbing, but I'm never one to be picky about ingesting any food or beverages, so it is all good to me. Lol, my freezer doesn't have food, just has alcohol

Anyone travelling to Serbia must try this. The nectar of the gods. This got taken off the shelves in Canada because of war sanctions, and the cabal that controls the liquor industry here never brought it back.

If anyone is visting Ontario and brings me this stuff, I will pay top $$$ and be the expediter of your dreams.

We have some local brewers who make a righteous ale. Full bodied and lingers in your mouth. I've concluded that lagers are for the timid. However, I become inspired like a true artist only when I have some french or plum brandy (sljivovica). I head to MTF afterwards.

Can anyone give me some suggestions for beer and wines? I have been trying and trying to enjoy them but can't find any I seem to like. I like my drinks sweet.

Great bump . I also had an epic new years: threw a party for my friends with my fiancé and it was awesome, we played a shot drinking game where one of my pals ended up puking all over the table . I laughed so hard! Then the wuss and some other blokes quit the drinking game so I had to finish the bottle with a smaller group. Night included many other adventures as well but that one sticks out and I still chuckle to it every now and again.

My favorite drinks? I like (good) wine probably most. Red, white, sparkling, all are great. Champagne is my favorite but it's of course expensive, though you can get a cheap bottle for 20-30 euros.

Beer I've grown to like during the past year, though most Finnish beers suck, prefer Belgian or Mexican lagers.

Generally I'm not very picky about my drinks (typical Finn ), especially if you mix it in a coctail you can never go wrong unless you deliberately make it taste bad.

Whiskey I've sadly not grown fond of just yet, would like to like it though. Cognac is good. Clear liquors are all good, especially vodka
