I also think Tsonga-Djokovic in the FO is overrated although it was surely a very entertaining match.

I agree on all except the Djokeray one at the A.O., which I think you're seriously underrating. Nadal-Rosol produced at least 15 minutes of very entertaining highlights but it's more a case of one of the greatest 5th-set performances on serve rather than a great match.

Re: 2012 Match Of The Year
How is AO final winning this poll? 6 hours of the same thing is entertaining?

Cause most people here who are Nadal fans are also Djokovic fans. If the AO match didn't happen, then RG final would probably be winning the poll.

Look, if "Match of the Year" is about overall quality of play, or even the excitement caused by shifts in momentum and control, then I think most would agree the Rosol match ain't up up there.
But fuck me, it was an incredible shock. And exhilarating stuff.

Nah. Maybe to some people it was boring because of long points, but determination of 2 players strong will of Nole and really hard hard battle until the end won me. It was last man standing match. I enjoyed it, and Nole winning it helped too.

Translation: I'm a Noletard, therefore it was the greatest match ever played.

Re: 2012 Match Of The Year
Tipsy and David in USOP QF This match was good quality but Tipsy unfortunately....
Kei and Milos in Tokyo Final Battle of young stars and they have opposite style of play- one has huge serve, the other has good return.
Sam and Nole in Paris 2R After 2nd set, Sam was on fire.

This poll lost all credibility when it listed USO final.
