Should have used Rosol on the basis Stepanek would never ever beat Ferrer irrespective of the surface. Save Stepanek for singles and reverse fixture vs Almagro.

It`s a real good match. Ferrer is really offensive, but unfortunately Steps is not coming to the net as often as he should. If he does this, it would be a lovely match.

It`s like you said, a fresh match because of the surface.

fair enough. Another reason to use Rosol is that Steps plays a lot of S/V. Such short points doesn't wear Ferrer down for his Berdych encounter. Berdych can surely beat Ferrer but the more fatigue in the spaniard the better

Rosol is only an average player, no way he can beat Ferrer. Steps is more talented and specially, more inteligent. If someone can cause some trouble to Ferrer is him and not Rosol.

By the way, Ferrer is in his peak, so except for Berdych, he is the favorite against the other players

The point was that neither player would beat Ferrer; Stepanek is the better doubles player so why not save him for that?

Steps isn't anything special in singles this season. I think he will be routined by both Ferrer and Almagro.

Rosol sure he's lower but he has a all or nothing style that is perfect for these kind of matches. His highest level can own anyone. And his form isn't bad. he won a challenger recently. Stepanek is on the decline. He's singles game was much better last season
