It's normal for Fed to be cheered/Murray jeered, same would happen to Nadal/Djoko at home

Firstly, the Conservatives promised a referendum on Europe and that's never going to happen so parties don't always deliver on their manifesto promises. Secondly, the SNP promised a referendum, they didn't promise independence. There's a big difference and one day when you are older, you will understand. The SNP aren't a single-issue party like UKIP. They came to power because of their policies on healthcare, education and public spending. For 70% of the population in Scotland at the moment, independence is irrelevant.

Good answer. Avoid the question because you have backed yourself into a corner.
Well played.
Guess you don't need to worry about a parties manifesto when you vote BNP, eh? Knuckle-dragging idiot.

What side of the line do the SNP fall on?
Exactly.

Re: Is Murray better liked in America than Britain?
Silly folks who read into stuff in tabloids over here will never like him because of the exaggerated importance of this comment made in an interview.
Quote:
The interview host and Tim Henman are discussing the 2006 World cup and mocking Scotland for not being there. This is all in good humour.
Host: So Andy, who will you be supporting?
Andy: Anyone but England
|
Some people forget the context and hate him for that comment. However it's forgotten that Andy actually lives in West London and his girlfriend is English.....
Obviously this is not all of England who dislike Muzza for this, I mean there are loads of idiots out there but this is the reason that comes out the most.

Liverpool FC need to return to the good old days when the players were born and bred locally. Dalglish, Keegan, McDermott, Kennedy, Lawrenson, Hansen, Grobelaar, Toshack, Molby ........ or were they just the Chelsea of the 70's buying the best talent available in the market?

Re: Is Murray better liked in America than Britain?
the english crowd are a bunch of pampered stiffs. i really wouldn't expect anything remotely close to class from them. a pack of hyenas could do a better job supporting one of their own than their bunch. then again, i guess the uptight english don't consider a scott truly as one of their own. their loss. i hope scotland gets their independence soon enough so that england remains lonely as a mug tennis nation without having to claim some sort of forced alliance with the rest of the UK in order to feel some type of union jack patriotism. fuck them.

Federer is alright compared to the likes of Faker and Pochahontas (most human beings are so it's not saying much ) but he's got this fake attitude going on some times. Even though he's been honest in some of his opinions he rarely truly says things as they are and chooses to pick the "right words" in order to mellow down his speech and make it more swallowable for the media and his dumbdowned fans. if he were more straighforward and less afraid of showing his true colours he'd have less crowd support and less fans around the world but at the same time he'd gain more intelligent fans and be an overall more respected person by the ones who count more.

Re: Is Murray better liked in America than Britain?
I don't understand why Murray is hated through out the world. It just makes no sense. The lack of respect and disgusting behaviour by people oh here and ppl through out the world is embarrassing. He is an human being, not the devil. He has done nothing wrong to deserve this hate and I for one am embarrassed to call myself British, You should be ashamed of yourself. He has brought nothing but determination, spirit and effort to this sport. The many times I have seem people say he is a mug, he should retire, he should do this do that is very demoralising and pathetic. and as a matter of fact the British are pompous gits when it comes to tennis. Their mentality is just all about glory hunting and and that crap. They don't respect the game as well as others do.
