Just regain variety in court surfaces and speeds. I don't want slow courts removed, just want more fast ones on the tour. Not to mention, would love for grass to have a more equal season compared to the other surfaces and actually have it play like old grass. Bad bounces are an enjoyable aspect to watch pros deal with.

Whats with the balls they use at the AO? They looked like furballs after 2 games.

Unfortunately it a byproduct of the
Slow homogenized era of tennis.

Not going to happen.

My two biggest schedule dreams:

*More grass tourneys, incl. a grass Masters.
*A South American Masters, preferably in Argentina.

And of course, a tournament in Finland would be great. But the only problem in that is finding the financing, otherwise we could well have a tournament now, I think.

And more variety on sufaces, please.

Default World Tour Finals in a different form altogether - A Proposal to ATP

a completely different topic just to break the routine and refresh.....i have a new idea for ATP if they want to listen......

we all know that world tour finals has been losing its charm over the last decade or so.....too much of hardcourt activity and repetitive heavy groundstrokes event after event gets too boring by the time of WTF.....so i have thought out a change to make it exciting at the end of the season.....

1. players will have to switch to wooden rackets for a change and of course lighter balls to go with that.....

2. we will also change the surface to fast outdoor clay court like green clay.....

all that makes it interesting with every top 8 player trying their best to make the necessary shift and employing different tactics, game styles out of confusion and chaos.....matches will be more entertaining and it will be a good break from the routine.....

how many are with me?

WTF should be played on super fast low-bounce hardcourt to favor Nadal according to SDG.

we all know that world tour finals has been losing its charm over the last decade or so..... [quote]

Last decade means 2012-10= 2002. Roger has won 6 WTF titles, the 5th most important tournament of the season where there are no easy/cakewalk draws, from 2003 to 2011. Hum... I see where you're getting at. Plus the fact that nadal has won 0 titles.

And you state we all know but I, and I believe many more people, don't really get it. Would you care to explain why the tournament has lost its charm? And saying it's because nadal never won there doesn't count...

Removing the one major indoor HC tournament would be a disaster, and wooden racquets would just be...bad. No one would play well with them, Nadal would be a disaster and I don't think Djokovic would do great either

we are only assuming things......throwing the rackets to them and putting them in the field could prove a different story......it's an interesting change as far as i am concerned......people like change, why not make it interesting with that change? who knows people might eagerly wait for world tour finals if played with wooden rackets......it also brings back 70s and 80s followers to the sport and increases ratings......
