I think even Djokovic fans don't believe he will be a factor at 31...

I think Djokovic will still be a weapon at 30-31. He takes care of himself, is in good shape. Can very much so win AO at 31, like Roger did with Wimbeldon.

Does anyone have the Downlow on the possible young guys that could take the lead in ranks, wins etc?

Of course he'll be a factor, if he still wants to play then that is. Ferrer is 31 in few months and a solid top 5, even has slim chance to take #4 if Nadal isn't ready for AO.

Nole is certainly better player than Ferrer, and at 31 he'll most likely face much weaker opposition than Ferrer is facing now. He could be like Serena then

That must be one of the most absurd things you have said and that's saying something.
So 31-year-old Djokovic won't be a factor when today we have 2 31-year-olds in the Top 5?

I suppose Nadal could transfer his brain and soul into a younger healthier body. Wouldn't be the first time he used advancements in technology to become successful.

Not really, aggassi was dictating almost every rally, he let his opponent do the running. Djokovic is also a baseliner with a double handed backhand, but he isn't dictating that much, so he is running a lot more than Agassi ever needed to. In todays game it is probably the only option if you want to be successful. Even Federer runs a lot more than the whole 90s generation together and he has a bigger serve and forehand than Djokovic.

I don't know what to expect but looking at Agassi won't help us.

The previous generation of players began around 1990 when Sampras won the USO, Chang won the '89 FO and Courier won the '91 FO. You had the young guys beating established champions like Edberg, Becker and Lendl. That generation lasted until Agassi's 2003 AO win, so about 13-14 years. The current generation started in 2004 when Federer won his 2nd, 3rd and 4th majors; then Nadal entered the field a year later at the FO. So if this generation lasts 13 years, like the last one, we won't see consistent new young contender at the majors until 2016 at the earliest. So three more years of Fed, Nadal, Novak and Murray. And it looks like Raonic, Tomic and the like are going to be transitional champions judging by their age.

Agassi is nowhere close to Janowicz in terms of variety. Janowicz doesn't even need to run too much. Agassi benefitted from better fitness and some weak hard court opponents.

Janowicz is better than Agassi, you heard it here first.

For what it's worth, even though I absolutely hate Raonic's game, I think he will serve-bot his way to slams in future. He's good for a R4 these days, and just needs a few good serving days to edge out some tie-breaks and take a slam. Plus, his game is based on standing still and serving, so he will not decline quickly.

^^^^Wow bold

Yeah if any 19-21 year old has a chance its Ranoic. Though he literally only has a serve at the moment, he is still young enough that he can develop a good ground game.
