The British hate Murray - he's made fun of on their TV shows.
Why do you think they put him in Djokovic's group - they want him out. Also, his matches are always the afternoon ones, because the TV schedulers assume no-one will watch them.

Re: WTF semi-final qualification speculation thread
SF: Federer-Murray
SF: Djokovic-Ferrer
F: Roger-Djokovic
W: Roger
Roger's serve is still better than Nole's but the latter's baseline excellence allows him to win matches.
Roger: Serve, FH and volleys >>> Nole: ROS and movement

Re: WTF semi-final qualification speculation thread
Maybe this is easier to understand
Nole will be 1st if...
- he beats Berdych, OR
- he loses to Berdych in 3, and Murray beats Tsonga
Nole will be 2nd if...
- he loses to Berdych and Tsonga beats Murray, OR
- he loses to Berdych in straights, and Murray beats Tsonga in 3
Nole will qualify for the semis in all circumstances except Berdych in straights, Murray in straights
Murray will be 1st if...
- He beats Tsonga in straights and Berdych beats Nole in straights
Murray will be 2nd if...
- he beats Tsonga, and Nole wins at least 1 set against Berdych, OR
- he loses to Tsonga in 3 and Nole beats Berdych
Murray will qualify for the semis with...
- a win in straights, OR
- a win in 3 and at least 1 set for Nole, OR
- a win for Nole and at least 1 set for Murray
Berdych will finish 1st if...
- he beats Nole as Tsonga beats Murray, OR
- he beats Nole in straights, and Murray beats Tsonga in 3
Berdych will finish 2nd if...
- he beats Nole in straights and Murray beats Tsonga in straights, OR
- he loses to Nole in 3, and Tsonga beats Murray in straights
Berdych will qualify for the semis if...
- he beats Nole in straights, OR
- he wins and Tsonga wins, OR
- he loses in 3 and Tsonga wins in straights
Tsonga cannot finish 1st
Tsonga will finish 2nd if...
- he beats Murray in straights, and Nole beats Berych in straights
This is the only possibility for Tsonga to make the semis

1. No, we don't.
2. No, they have so far been in the afternoon because that is the only time the BBC are showing the matches: only Sky have the evening matches. And on Friday Andy gets the evening match.

Re: WTF semi-final qualification speculation thread
Semis don't matter. The GOAT will win #7 and show everyone who is still the real #1.

If Murray wins then yes, if Tsonga wins then no he would be 2nd
For those that posted that Nole could possibly tank, still finish 1st, let Berdych finauh 2nd eliminating Muray and giving fed a tough semi assuming fed wins his group, the only possibility of Nole 1st, Berdych 2nd is Nole winning 2-1, and Tsonga winning 2-0, if Nole plays first then obviously that's impossible to tank, he could tank a set and hope Tsonga wins in straights I guess but he's hardly controlling anything

it's easy to win multiple titles when you have fixed draws, endless bribes and choking clowns as opponents
when frauderer is forced to play someone who is good at tennis, he loses
don't worry though; frauderer will get #7, but #7 will be how many hours he cries for when nadal beats him at AO again

What a clown. You could not be anymore wrong here, the BBC only show the day match and they know Murray will get the most viewers so the insist his match is then. I heard they only had the right to do this for 2 of the group matches though so Andy will probably be night match on Friday.
