Not so sure. Maybe the confidence of his 1st master title could give the spanish vulture a boost. Purplerer in 3

Re: WWW WTF RR: Federer - Ferrer
Bashkatik's 'Fed in 2' could seriously be the jinx.
But why has he started this thread? Does he already know who wins tonight?

I always predict a straight sets win in Federer matches. I did that during Wimbledon-Olympics-Cincinnati too
And is the Ferrer-Delpo match relevant for he order of play of Day 4? If so, I did not know

We know! The last quote in my sig is like the only time you probably haven't predicted Federer in straights, and still you were wrong.

How long have you been following tennis for? It's always been winner vs winner and loser vs loser on the second day of play for a group.

I'm always optimistic when it comes to Federer, and it feels right to me to predict him winning.
TBH, if I look back at 2012 there wasn't a single match that I thought he was gonna lose (I mean right before he played). I was most concerned before Nadal at AO, Nadal at IW, and Djokovic at RG.

I guess I was under the impression that it's going according to seeds.
1-4
2-3
1-2
3-4
...

Re: WWW WTF RR: Federer - Ferrer
Who cares, we all know this match is going to happen, whether it's in round 2 or 3
And we all know the result as well

No such thing as matchups
The better indoor player will lose.

Perhaps he's been watching longer than some. It's always this way now, but not in the past. I remember meetings between players both at 2-0, only deciding who would be the group winner. Can't say exactly when the rules were changed, though.

Re: WWW WTF RR: Federer - Ferrer
Ferrer to fight for his life again in giving a titanic but come short once more, this being a terrible match-up and the GOAT being, well, GOATish indoors.
Fed in 2.
