Biggest Chokes of 2012?
Sydney R1 Qualies: Marinko Matosevic led Kukushkin 6-1 5-1. Lost 6/7(5) 2-6.
Last week in Chennai we had Kavcic losing from 6-4 5-1 to Darcis.
These two will be tough to beat come the end of the year.
Hopefully someone saw the matches and there were some extenuating circumstances for either player.
Keep track of only the major, major ones in here. Will be fun to look back on in the off season

Don't understimate the ATP field, but yes that's very though to beat!

Keep track of the chokes at the end of the season, then will poll the top 10.

Re: The Biggest Chokes of 2012 (Enter Marinko Matosevic)
I'm hearing that Dusan Lajovic led Matteo Viola 5-0 in the third set and then *5-4 40-0
"at least 6 or 7 match points" according to source.
Oz Open R1 qualies:
Viola d Lajovic 6-2, 6-7(8), 8-6

Yeah, that one will hardly get beaten.

Re: The Biggest Chokes of 2012 (Dusan Lajovic, take a bow)
He had 5-0 with his oppponent serving at 0-40, he had a load of mp in that game and in the one after but once it went to 5-2 I don't think he had any more.

I would still give Verdasco a good chance of taking this valuable title.

Sounds like a thread that would fit a Benneteau on one of his best days!
