Re: USA Election Day Thread!
Pennsylvania goes to Obama. Big win for Barack and takes away a state Romney was attempting to steal.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
It's not going to matter in Florida. It's going to be if Obama wins the popular vote or starts under a dark cloud and the American people becomes more disillusioned and divided.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
Pennsylvania given to Obama, no surprise there.
Virginia and Ohio are the most meaningful states in race for Obama though he can win even if he loses those two and Florida if he gets all the others.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
Romney wins in Wyoming, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Texas.
Obama wins in New York, New Jersey, Illinois.
All expected results. The Michigan and Pennsylvania calls are big ones for Obama.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
That Obama faced any danger at all in either is very bad for him, especially Michigan, which the labor unions fully control.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
It's 143 Obama-153 Romney, but that's based on basically all of the states going the way they were expected to go. The biggest battleground states are going down to the wire.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
One thing is clear. Paul Ryan has done absolutely nothing for Romney. He would have done better to take Rubio and gotten significant jumps with Hispanic voters, especially in FL.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
Tammy Baldwin, Democrat, wins in the Wisconsin Senate race over Republican challenger Tommy Thompson. She becomes the first ever openly gay/lesbian senator in US history!!!!!

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
Wisconsin goes to Obama. Another big loss for Romney. He's running out of options.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
Connecticut seem to have gone with Murphy over McMahon in the Senate race.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
73% of ballots in, Romney ahead 51%-48% over Obama. Somewhat close than expected.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
Wisconsin, like Minnesota has always been an oddball state. They elect Scott Walker and Tammy Baldwin.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
Amazing how close Florida is. Probably won't know who wins Florida tonight but I suspect we will know who wins Ohio and thus the election since I think it will be Obama.

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
Wow, more than 2 hours after the poll closed, people are still waiting in line to vote and estimates another hour before the line clears!

Re: USA Election Day Thread!
Democrat Sherrod Brown wins his senate seat out of Ohio over Republican challenger Josh Mandel. Good news for Obama out of Ohio.
