Paris F: (4) Ferrer def (Q) Janowicz 6-4 6-3
Really high quality first set, Ferrer saved BP at 4-4 then broke to deuce the next game.
Second set was lower quality, Janowicz seemed to tire after Ferrer got back an early break for JJ
Ferrer both served and returned fantastically, though his backhand was still a bit off. He just got too many of JJ's huge serves back though.
Janowicz can take a lot from this week, he's got a lot of talent and should be a top player. But in the end, Ferrer was the better player and got his long-deserved TMS title.

Points from Masters: Ferrer 2160, del Potro 1520 (+640)
Points from small tournaments: Ferrer 1890, del Potro 1840 (+50)
But it's okay, because the top 10 playing more is good for the game!

Paris F: DAVID FERRER def Janowicz 6-4 6-3 to claim his 1st & well deserved TMS title
This was a fantastic week by JJ, he can be great. Beat 5 top 20 players, but as expected, Ferrer was too strong.
First Masters title for David Ferrer - What a LEGEND
Dedicated to Mark Lenders, Certinfy, pusher for life. Warm regards

The match was both boring and predictable. Glad David came through it all in the end.

Re: Paris-Bercy F: Ferrer def. [Q] Janowicz 6-4 6-3
Congrats! Fully deserved, more wins at masters level than any other non-masters winner. So I hope he cherishes this moment.
Great work David.
Good week from Janowicz, hopefully he'll be inspired to work hard in the off-season.

Re: Paris F: (4) Ferrer def (Q) Janowicz 6-4 6-3
This just shows. When Novak, Murray, or Roger win masters, it's like they just pooed and feel relived. But Ferrer wins and pretends he won a slam. Life of average tennis players is not as easy as the gifted ones. Ferrer's talent is not the greatest but his fighting spirit is

Re: Paris-Bercy F: Ferrer def. [Q] Janowicz 6-4 6-3
Congrats Ferrer. He deserves it For Janowicz it was an amazing tournament and there's nothing he should be ashamed of. The big question is if he can keep the same level in the future. I doubt it but maybe he'll prove me wrong
