Another interesting stat is that he never beat a member of the current top 8 in the semis or final of any tournament - not in Slams, M1000 or 500/250

He can only win tournaments when the Llodras and Janowiczs of this world are waiting in the late stages. Soderling is the real 8th member of the top 8, not Ferrer.

I'm no Fakervic fan but he needs to save tennis, sadly tree trunk legs will be fresh. Interesting he's never questioned...

Yep, beating Nadal twice in the QF's of slam doesn't count because?

Didn't see you making threads like this one when Murray didn't have a slam....

Apparently now a M1000 defeating Llodra and Janowicz is more impressive than a Grand Slam, defeating Nadal and Federer.

Good to know.

Robert has turned into one of the biggest clowns this board has ever seen lately.

Seems like lately he's been getting confused between how much he wants to suck Ferrer's cock and what a mug Ferrer really is.

Well, at least Ferru has as many slam wins over Nadal as Federer.

No but seriously, I fear it's hard to make a case for 1 Masters > 1 Grand Slam. Especially since most wouldn't even have 8 Masters > 1 Grand Slam.

Did you even bother to check this? Ferrer won Stuttgart 2006 and s-Hertogenbosch 2008, beating Berdych and Del Potro in the semis of each tournament. The fact is most of his wins are in the quarters, though, and in the semis he tends to meet Federer or Nadal.

In the top 8, Ferrer has a winning H2H against Berdych, Tsonga and Del Potro. Tsonga has a losing H2H against everyone.

Ferrer's not on my most attractive list.(you of all people should know I'd rather go down on Berdy ) And what's to be confused about? Ferrer isn't my fav but he's clearly better than most of you give him credit for. Maybe you should check your anti-ferru bias.
