The first set was far from high quality. The quality of ball striking was far from what it could have been.
Janowicz was flat from the beginning. A few flashes of brilliance but he looked spent throughout.
Extremely anti-climatic.

Ferrer deserves a TMS but shame it came indoors and that he halted two great runs (Mika and Jerzy) in the process.
Boredo is the worst TMS champ and always will be, btw. He cheated in the SF. Always a disgusting stain on tennis history.

There hasn't been a more deserving Masters 1000 winner in the open era. Ironic that he got it indoors, but massive congratulations are in order.
