Of course he's the favorite. And will forever be the favorite until he shows severe decline or someone else proves they can beat him when he's on his game. And thus far, no-one has proven they can do it.

Nadal is the clay master. These little boys on tour are child's play for him, bar Nole.

At this point of his career, Noserer is better off making Mirka play for him if he ever encounters the Clay King on the hallowed ground of Spartan Gods AKA Phillip Chatrier stadium.

mirka would have a better break point conversion rate i reckon

and by break point conversion, i mean blowing kisses at nadal before serving

nadal, being the childish individual he is, would smile and giggle nervously, and fail to break the mirka federer serve

some things transfer across spouses; all serve

A Del Potro-Djokovic combo in semis and final could prove a very big challenge for him - no one else has a shot of beating him on clay imo. Or even Del Potro in QF, Federer SF, Nole F.

nadal defeated rainovic with ease this year

it will take cheaterer + del bashtro + toni's powers fading + sped up clay + soderling rebirth to defeat nadal at RG

By 2016, Noserer will be lucky to snatch a mixed doubles RG, provided Hingis turns up sober.

Dull might have trouble trying to get a wildcard into the Women's wheelchair singles draw

Djokovic wasn't in great form this year though, and Nadal's route to the final was beyond a joke: Monaco, Almagro, Ferrer He will be winning RG at 80 years old if those jokers and clay court mugs are in his draws

Djokovic and Del Potro are the only two who have a shot to beat him on clay, a Nole-Delpo back to back combo would be tough for him. Would be even better if he drew players who could take sets off him in early rounds by serving big and hitting big (Isner, Raonic...) so he had some mental fatigue before reaching the real challenges instead of routining his way through the draw. By this I mean no Andujars, Monacos, Ferrers and co. - guys who will play right into Nadal's hands by trying to outgrind him and get routined with ease.

Even then I'm sure Rod Laver would get the Women's wheelchair WC over him
