Good for David. A golden opportunity for him - I don't think he should be overly concerned about London at this point, it'd always be a long shot for him to do well in that company.

I don't think Tsonga would tank at home, he's just not in great form at the minute. He's done well to hang in long enough to make the year-end top 8.

Tsonga thought he was playing doubles and was aiming at the outside lines...still missing everything. Of course the vulture had to fancy his chances. Easy points now.

Bad luck Jo, hopefully he gets 1 RR win next week at WTF, glad that he qualified once again this year

FFS, that was terrible from Jo. Unless he has a massive turn around in time for London, he's going to be a non-factor at the WTF.

Congratulations to Ferrer. Did what he needed to and got the win

Such a good match. Such a good 15 or so months after then. Then Nice 2010 and it all went to hell

Expected, after Berdych-Simon match i was sure that Ferrer will win this, the same Tsonga making to many errors and his form is really bad, at WTF no way he makes F again, not only Nole and Andy will be hungry to win there, but his form is joke. Ferrer is just to consistent player vs someone like Jo, yes Jo can blast through you 2-3 service games in row - aces, unreturnables, fine volleys, FH bombs, but than you know will come game with stupid erros, shaky BH and some Ferrer´s good returns- on other side you have Ferrer maybe struggling more but you know he is to consistent and good to be broken - Ferrer just prooved everything in this match, that Tsonga hoem indoors lost to him - Tsonga in form is joy to watch, but Tsonga in crap form is walking bye for top players
