I will be very happy for David, that`s for sure. 
We will read a lot about the least deserved Masters ever, but who cares? David will make a big step then to overpass Rafa after AO.

Let's face it.
Vulture reaching the final in an ATP 1000, let alone winning it, is as bad as , if not worse, Albert Portas reaching the final in an ATP 1000 years ago only to dissapear for the rest of his career.

Ferrer has reached Masters finals in the past, including this year. Only lost because he was playing the best clay player of this generation. Your comparison is beyond stupid considering that Ferrer has "appeared" in the QF or better in every slam this year

He has reached Masters finals in the past (3 times), but he didnt reach a final this year. His best result so far this year is reaching the semifinal in Rome.
