Nice one Jerzy, this kid is making Tomic, Harrison, Dimitrov, Raonic and Young all look like shit in the space of one week

It really is pathetic to keep retiring in these positions. There ought to be some kind of fine.

As for Janowicz - 4 Top 20 victories in a row. Has any of Tomic, Goffin, Dimitrov, Raonic, or even Dolgopolov ever managed that?

Tipsy got beaten down hard. Janowicz was serving from a tree and scoring winners by ballbashing, drop-shotting and just outplaying Janko.
Please win this tournament Jerzy!

I kind of wanted Janko to win because I actually think Gilles would have had a better chance against him . Janko retires way too much.

Awesome for Jerzy though. I really hope it's him against Mika in a TMS final, would rule.

This guy has now retired from a match in every Grand Slam, the Olympics, Davis Cup and now four of the nine masters.

I used to like Tipsarevic until his final against Seppi at Eastbourne where he retired in the last game just because he was angry to lose (he didn't get any title at this time)

I said it before.
He is no Rosol 2.0, he is a huge talent and an upcoming star.

Great result again.

He just beat two Top 10 players and both of them had no chance in 3rd set. Of course, their effort was not very good, of course but Janowicz still played great.

Seriously though, Janowicz is a delight to watch when all his cylinders are firing. He combines deft touch with miraculous shotmaking on a consistent basis while keeping the unforced errors to a premium. He started off slowly which is understandable after the week he's had but really hit his stride at the beginning of the second set and never looked back. Some of those winners from the baseline were incredible. Hope he can reach the final and have a consistent year next season and not drift off and become another Gulbis.

Tispy will be fine for WTF.
