What are you even talking about! JFC what are you watching??
Simon is a counter puncher- this is a fast court and he uses the opponents pace against them. Why does Simon have more success on hardcourts?
The only way Simon can hit sneaky aces is on a fast indoor court.

Golden chance for Gilles to win his first masters, he could beat anyone still in draw if he keeps playing like this.
Llodra leads the H2H to him 5-0, and Tsonga 4-2 (and Tsonga's 2 losses were on clay, one of them very tight and Tsonga was far from his best)

he hates their game, esp. their serve

not really today : rather soft balls, on this court you need to create the pace tourself and especially against Simon's soft balls, that was Berdych's problem by the way.

Berdych doesn't like so much creating the pace himself, he's no Söderling or del Potro.

Soderling owned Simon but Berdych can't win against him... To be true Robin owned Berdych also

Splendid. The one Masters where the top 4 are out and we'll have Simon pushing to the Paris title . I sure hope someone can stop this disgusting pusher.

Good performance from Simon.

Even after Berdych went up a break early in the second, Simon still appeared to be the superior player from the baseline (on this day). Tomas' serve kept his lead for a bit. Once Simon made inroads toward that, it was a matter of the time.

He was great at redirecting some of Tomas' bullets, and did well to transition from defense-to-offense throughout the match.

The smarter player wins. Funny to see the vitriol it provokes in some, and also quite telling.

I agree with the sentiment that a player like Berdych would never tank with such a good opportunity to win an event of this calibre.

Again the same like yesterday right? Andy said this is fast so it must be fast....

Simon´s style is tough math-up for Berdych and he can´t hit through him on this court - to slow court for Tomas to hit through him - not saying slow HC overall, but slow for him vs Simon? what do you here don´t understand?

Yes Simon can´t hit ace on outdoor slow HC, clay and definitely not on grass right? his 1st serve have good placement, that´s it Berdych should have done more just get those serves back, those unreturnalbes from Simon were returnables for sure - at lest some of them.
