Dimitrov confirms and consolidates his entrance in top-50 next monday

And I will be able to see him playing live tomorrow against Monaco

how did he play ? was on court 1 but must have been televised

He played solid, very solid. Surprisingly it all looked in his hands (considering that an agressive lefty should be his quintessential nightmare..).

He was leadin 5-2 in first set, got broken serving for it at 5-3, but was more than convincing in the TB (TB again..

)

Second set he was all over Melzi, drop shots, slices, attacks, good serving - game was clicking and he deservedly won.

I'm really curious what it would be against Monaco next, but with this confidence atm i would rate Dimitrov slight favorite there.

Dimitrov was playing great for the most part. Hitting very cleanly.

He was broken serving for the first set which was horrible. He has to stop doing that shit.

Hopefully he can beat Mugaco.

That was a nice clip but I am still not confident in his movement. That MP just demonstrates it. He's quite often either too slow, too quick or his feet get entangled when he's moving. I hope he puts in the work because it does seem something may be brewing there.
