Help: How to watch the AO with a roommate?
Over here, the AO matches go on in the middle of the night, but I really want to watch them. When I was at home, I just set an alarm and woke myself up, but I can't wake my roommate up at 3am everyday. How do you guys handle situations like this?
And how do you keep up with work during the AO? Help please. I don't want to miss out.

Drug your roommate so he passes out.

Use a laptop, lower the brightness of the screen and watch in bed with headphones. Waking up in time without waking roommate could be an issue though. Have to use some special alarm or sleep with headphones on and have a alarm on the computer OR just adjust your entire sleeping cycle so you go to bed much earlier and waking up about 3-4am becomes normal

You can get alarms that wake you with vibrations rather than sound.

For keeping up with work I have no suggestions, too individual how people prefer to do things.

Tennis > work. I missed out on one weeks worth of school to attend the WTF and let me tell you, it was so fucking worth it.
Book a hotel room for your roommate and pay for her to stay there. Problem solved.

Re: Help: How to watch the AO with a roommate?
Set the alarm, wake up, turn on the TV, watch it. If she says something tell her to deal with it and go back to sleep. Be the alpha female

Alarm with headphones is perfect! I'll definitely do this at least for the semis and finals.
