Default Paris R1 : Seppi def. Klizan 6-2 2-6 7-6(5)

Happy Seppi won this match, but the reality was Klizan had enough chances to win this.

Is there a net surrounding the court? The picture looks weird.

That was brutal, when he tried to serve it out at 5-3 he just couldnt find the first serve. And then does so well to get to *5-2 and just comes up with more 2nd serves and errors... Brutal, must be extremely frustrated. Seppi did enough, his game dipped severely from that 2nd to middle of 3rd, when he's making UEs hes just real bad. Good for him though

Klizan should be happy with his excellent season overall, but definitely not with this last match - it was there for the taking and he choked big time, basically gifted Seppi the match. He should rise further up the ranking next year though.

Seppi's run should end in the next round against Berdych, I'd assume.

Sad stuff from Klizan, as much as I don't want to say it, this was a choke from him, should have obviously done better, had another chance in the breaker to save face, blew it again, had a feeling this match would be close, but not like this, the final score doesn't tell the story, really disappointing season end for him, full credit to Seppi though, his mental strength is quite good in these situations.

I left once Seppi won the first set, thought he would walk the rest of the match.

Kližan looks like he should have won, but the guy has little experience on this type of court against a very solid player, kind of understandable for him to throw away a few leads.

Congrats to Seppi, a continuation of a damn fine season.

Klizan serving for the match at *5-3 as well. Neither player played well at the same time.

Seppi throwing his racquet and Cilic saying to Kas " Let me play Klizan, will show you how it's done".

Of course it was brutal choke from Klizan, only way mug like Seppi could win this match.

a muggy choke from Klizan...i wonder if his mental toughness to close out matches is going to be a problem against the top guys...chokes like these will not bode well when you are in the Top 30 and trying to rise in the ranks...Should be interesting to see what he does with a seeding at the AO...still a great season for him, though

You guys are made of lemons. Try not to be so bitter.

I like both, but Kližan isn't going to win every match in his career that he's in control of, just as he won't lose every match he's outplayed in.
