Great day for tennis. We could have the big 5 in the next 2 years. Would be more interesting if we have 5 players playing at the same level next year.

Has to be a good testimonial about how great Roger is - he loses in third set TB against a great player in the final of an ATP 500 and he's rated playing horrible, abysmal, crap, shate, etc.

The bar he's lifted is so high that his legendary status is just confirmed.

Good match, good drama, one UE solved it at the end (Roger's FH in the net at *2-3 in the final TB).

Now go to Paris and make it to the semies at least please

Juan Martin Very happy for him, well deserved title and win over his nemesis.

With his improved serve, he should be contending for big titles in 2013 and rising further up the ranking, a second Slam is definitely possible. I'd still like him to avoid Federer in his draws: even when he's playing much better than Federer, he still can't return Federer's serve for shit Bring on Nadal or Djokovic instead any day of the week.

Still only shows Delpo's champion mentality that he was able to beat Federer at home on his best surface despite the bad matchup and horrible H2H. Congrats Juan Martin

Irrelevant (and probably a false prediction). While the "computer #1" claims may be absurd, what they really are comparing is 25 y.o. Nole with 31 y.o. Roger and their respective seasons. No need to keep predicting the same cr*p over and over again. We all know how great Roger is, and how impressive it is that he still plays likes this at 31.

Well deserved Delpo. Old mug doesn't deserve to win when he plays like this. Just worrying thing for Delpo is that he needed that old mugs lowers level from 50% through the match to -50% in that breaker. Still hope this win could return old Delpo's mentality

I think it was both disappoitment in Federer losing and shock at the TB that had just occurred that both contributed.

it was weird and confusing, I thought the ball was in because I didn't hear an 'out' shout so I assumed it was del potro challenging, the crowd probably also had no idea what was up at that last point

D-Pot looks so cute.
One of the reasons is that he'd have retired by then.
