Donald Young is 23 years old (born 23.7.1989), but I don't know if he belongs to group "mentionable".

Just fixed the formatting Juraj and will be interesting to see who will make it through. For the most part besides Nishikori, Dimitrov and Tomic the others haven't been massively overhyped. Some try and overhype Harrison .

Fixed the formatting, you say. Always when someone makes these they seem less than perfect on my PC..."age" and "DoB" are not underneath each other for each player. Is that just me?

Thanks, AJ. Actually I think players like Klizan, Goffin or Berankis were overhyped, but there are guys like Janowicz or Elias, who deserve some looks.

Klizan, well he had a big junior career took his time to make the breakthrough. He wasn't so bad in reality, even the Slovak fans I know were more hopeful that he will do something. Just when he won St Petersburg more of these types come out like Basha.
Goffin this year yes, not much before that and Berankis he had a bit, but nothing like Tomic, Dimitrov or Nishikori.
Litotes, I'm usual Google Chrome on default settings and it's in order for me.

Re: Youngsters in Top 150 (Ranking Discussion)
Agree with AJ, Klizan and Goffin weren't really hyped until they made their breakthroughs. (Raonic is another example of this).
You can't compare them to guys like Dimitrov and Tomic who already had big endoresemnt deals and were spoken of as potential number ones before they ever did anything as pros.
Berankis was something in between the two groups. He had the big management deal but not the same level of overrating by the media.
Anyway, what was the topic again?

Re: Youngsters in Top 150 (Ranking Discussion)
Dolgopolov is 24 in one week which is absolute peak age in tennis, not a youngster...

Re: Youngsters in Top 150 (Ranking Discussion)
Nishikori won a title at 18, Tomic was beating some memorable players at 17 and Dimitrov took a set from Nadal at 17. They deserved some hype back then, today they have most definetly stagnated for far too long.
I guess Goffin, Klizan and Raonic atleast show signs of evolution in their game with is exciting even if they arent that young.

Topic is situation of current youngsters, their rankings - how do they climb it, their chances in 2013 and many things connected with it.

Goffin, Klizan, Raonic and Nishikori will continue to climb the rankings slowly and maybe Raonic or Nishikori will finaly get into that top 10 ranking next year. Klizan and Goffin probably inside the top 25.
I doubt there will be a major breakthrough for anyone, no slam SF for anyone younger than Delpo next year.
Dimitrov has shown signs of small steps forward, he can climb into the top 40 I think and maybe finaly win some small tournament, but probably not. Harrison will stay where he is, Tomic will fall to a deep hole next year.
Janowics and Kuznetsov moving really slow not to make any sounds this year will climb to top 50 by end of next year and maybe we get to see them play in some R16 in a slam or SF of small tournament.
