Re: WWW Paris Masters + Main draw discussion
Very hard draw for the Maestro, as per usual. He will still crush them into Hell, wearing his mighty heterosexual spartan apparel and holding his fearsome racket-sword of doom.

Berdych didnt look tired, he just looked clueless. Since Federer declined it has often been a cointoss between them but on indoor surface Federer will always have the upper hand.

Berdych played well in that match and wouldn't have won that match even if he played the match of his life. IMO that was Fed best match of 2011

Why is it that Berdych has more karma coming to him than Fed, just wondering.

As for Gasquet to go ahead of Tipsy, he will have a chance to reach SF considering that neither Djoko nor Murray are in his quarter. It's a great chance actually !

He should beat Berdych and then, maybe, Federer. I`m not so sure as you that Roger won`t play. At all.
Though his draw is difficult too, might lose to Simon.

Re: WWW Paris Masters + Main draw discussion
Andy gets a good draw and he has Federer again. I sense another Andy/Djokovic final. That said, I'm happy with a quarter-final result at least for Andy. It'll give him some match practice. Anything after that is a bonus.

Re: WWW Paris Masters + Main draw discussion
Paris is indoor, so if Fed plays the matchup against Murray should play out differently.
Then again, Murray is nowadays very aggressive against Federer and the matchup might be more difficult even on this venue because of that.

Federer played well, i'm not denying that. But besides the serve the rest of Berdych's game was no where near the level it should have been.
If Berdych plays well though he'll make the quarter-finals and hopefully we get that match. If anything he better not play crap and give Gasquet an even better H2H against him, disgusting H2H that really is.

Re: WWW Paris Masters + Main draw discussion
With the way the draws have been for the past few months we can expect Federer and Murray in the same group at the WTF. Probably the tougher group.

It doesn't matter what Murray shows up here, bar their 1st two meetings, since then he's always had a winning record vs. Fed indoors.

Re: WWW Paris Masters + Main draw discussion
None of the top three will be in the final, or even the SF.

They are 2-2 bar their first meeting and Federer won the last 2, if you count the Wimbledon final as half an indoor match you get Federer clearly having advantage with indoor conditions.
