Good, but it doesn't seem to matter much, since the OOP was already released. According to those rules Kohlschreiber would have gotten Federer's draw then.

So much fail from me today.

Once Roger Federer withdrawal will be official (organization statement), Victor Hanescu will replace him in the main draw .... end of story (from the tournament twiter)

Hanescu getting the draw of the #1 seed. Muger deserves to get Murray, Berdych and Tsonga in London and lose all 3 matches.

Wow, I thought you are better than this. Oh well, even Djoko to be #1 still isn`t enough to go without stinging remark. That`s pathetic, man.

I have no respect for this. You can find my previous post in this thread about respecting Roger for being a man of his word. I was wrong. If you make a commitment, don't break it the very next day (or day after that). That's pathetic and deserves all the bashing it can get IMO. Novak's #1 has nothing to do with this. Tournament organizers sell tickets, TV rights, people come to Paris to see Roger. And they get Hanescu? Was it too hard for him to say he won't play on Friday?

You might want to tell that to Djokovic who screwed Paris.

The fact is, success in DC is largely determined by what country you come from or play for in the first place, which most players haven't had any control over.

I think it's true, because Federer only pulled out after the schedule for Monday was released.

Doesn't matter, though. Simon or Baghdatis will make sure Hanescu doesn't win any extra points or prize money here.

I think Berdych will win this title, I think he's the most willing and able of the top eight to give everything here and win it, and be okay for London.

You might want to see my answer to you in the other thread, but I'll say it again, no problem. I disagree that Djokovic has that kind of influence to singlehandedly change the ATP schedule (and if he does, for sure Fed has even more influence?), but I agree that the idea of removing the week between Paris and London is utterly stupid. Still, that's not the topic of this discussion and doesn't justify Fed for pulling out (with no injury) now. If he's injured and he got the injury today (I don't think he has?) I'll say I was wrong and he was right to pull out. But in this case, his actions are pathetic.

Come on, it`s clear that it was real question to the last moment - fly or not to Paris. Obviously if Fed wasn`t going to play there at all, he would withdraw before draw. And I don`t care what he is saying in interview (that he won`t go even winning this final). I don`t know the reason - tough final for his body, minus 200 points or what made him refusing from participation, but one thing is clear - he could have gone to France.

You wrote obvious thing, Fed is too long in this business not take under account what you wrote about tickets, organisers and so on.

LOL. You Fedtards got to have Nadal missing for half of the year(which coincidentally happened right during the time Fed just HAPPENED to win WImbledon). Absolutely no reason to complain about Mugray.

Er, right around the time Fed just "happened" to win Wimbledon, Nadal got Rosoled, and old man Fed - in succession - schooled the remaining cream of the peakity-peak crop on his way to an historic 7th crown? Hate some more pal.

I'm not blaming Rogie for withdrawing out of this tourney.
The tournament schedule is simply stupid. Something needs to be done about this. Quickly.

Something was done about it by the two winnies in your sig. That is they came up with this brilliant schedule we have this year. Whine to them.
