Retirement
Im officially retired from the game.
I love it too much to see it like this. Thank you very much to those who actually contributed to the game in a possitive way, and I hope you keep playing and fighting against those who don't (and there are many of those around..).
Last, but not least.. I want to thank my hermano, manu86.. for all these years. I know we will still be friends and talk regularly, but as a partner all I can say is that you are awesome! Also, I have to say thank you to GlennMirnyi and all of those whom I teamed up.
Good luck to all

Re: Retirement
Goodbye Fiber.
You were a hard player to win against. In this TT that the players bet the favorite, favorite and more favorites always, you were a guy that picked better because of nice risks and funny bets.
Good Luck and i hope the best for you and if manu86 wants to play with me we can play together some tournaments why not?
Goodbye again Fiber.

Re: Retirement
Too bad the game isn't the same game anymore as it was in the beginning
FiBeR, too bad you stop playing because you are one of the few I remember playing the game in the beginning. Good bye!

Re: Retirement
FiBeR, I have seldom seen eye to eye with you, but I respect your opinion. Change your mind and fight for what you believe.

Re: Retirement
Respect for your decision FiBer.. Tennis Tipping should be fun like it was at the beginning, nowadays it's a game with too many stupid and childish rules. A normal discussion about the game isn't possible anymore, since people already feel offended when you only have a little criticism. Bye

Re: Retirement
You should apply for the open Board position and try to change things if you're unhappy, but it is of course your decision and the game is certainly of a different spirit these last few years.

Re: Retirement
I can't really comment about what it was like in the beginning as I wasn't around then - however it's a shame to see anyone stop playing for whatever reason.
Every single TT player, from old-timers to newbies, had the opportunity to put forward any rule/topic that they wished to have discussed in the Year End Changes thread - those topics were then voted on by all TT players who wished to vote on them, so any changed rules were done because the majority of players who voted wanted those changes to be made.

Re: Retirement
I understand you Sander and Jess, but in the beginning there were 50-60 players, now we have 350 .
Everyone is welcome to the board, also there is not a rule which were changed by us, everything is vote from all players

I don't think you understand me I simply miss the spirit of the game, the way in which people used to interact with each other and get along and have fun. I just don't feel like players interact in the same way. Players used to respond to PMs (with a simple yes or no would do!) when they were being asked to play on a Davis Cup team or a battle of the sexes team. Players used to be more willing to get to know each other and be friendly with people they haven't played doubles with before At least that's how I feel. I feel like there is still a camaraderie between challenger players to an extent, but in the main draw I feel like that gets lost.
I have no problems with the rules because they were enacted democratically, as you say They've already screwed me once this year and I still have no problems with the rules
