I also have to say, VERY disappointed with Rycka losing to Copil. Very sad and disgusting result. Rycka needed it very much for the top 100. He failed badly, given he had chances to serve for the match in the third set. So unfortunate.
Also Igor, losing to Gombos. His season simply needs to come to an end. What a disaster.

Yeah, I agree that Hajek is a favorite against Olivier but it can be very tricky. Jan absolutely loves tournaments in these parts of the world, is in a very good form, but Olli is a tough material and I will be rooting for Olli.

Klec d. Stakhovsky 6-4, 6-4 LOL!!! Shocking result, but Stakhovsky played an absolute absolute crap, he was so careless. Klec was definitely better than expected (as almost every Slovakian in R1) but it shouldn´t be enough. Stakhovsky was a joke, probably the worst performance in R1 alongside with that Italian qualifier (Bellotti). Ivo was very lucky to play in R1 of this event and even more lucky he played against such a careless opponent. It´s even more shocking considering Stakhovsky is at home here in Bratislava...

What a match between Hajek and Rochus. Olli´s gonna make it, he´s so good in tough situations, saving a ton of BPs again and again. He brings everything back and fights so hard. Excellent stuff by both.

Hajek was doing everything he could. I had my bet on him at 2.15 but it didn´t work. Jan was really good, so I don´t blame him. I don´t know if he can play any better than this. He had 2-1 (40-15*) or 3-2 and 40-0* in 3rd set but didn´t convert and then Rochus was just too good. He was running like a man possesed there and bringing everything back with a great length. So tough to beat, I think he could also potentially beat Lacko in QF.
