At least it's better than Fedal which is an overrated rivalry thanks to the media. I mean it's just a bad match-up for Fed. I don't see what is so great about their rivalry to be honest. True that they had some great matches but still the H2H looks way one-sided. I don't consider that a great rivalry.

At least Djokovic and Nadal can beat each other on any surface and that's what makes their rivalry exiciting to watch imo. Also they are at the same age and that's an important point to mention.

The great rivalries at the moment imo are:

Fed/Nole
Nadal/Nole
Nole/Murray
Berdych/Fed

the fedal rivalry is not so good for the tennis and always was the same thing , federer playing great shots and agressive , and nadal run and return all the balls and moonballing federer`s backhand all the time , not great tennis in this rivalry.

federer and nole rivalry it`s by far much better , great shots and tennis by both sides!!!

but for me the best rivalry in tennis was sampras-agassi and after them borg-McEnroe

anyway , in harcourts noleandy will be the rivalry , the days of nadal in harcourts are over if nole and murray mantain their levels , and in grass if federer and murray have the same levels of this year and nole continues in a good level maybe in grass too.

Till now, though most of the tennis has been great, Nadal-Fed has been rather one sided. Nole-Murray, are very close H-H. Nole has more charisma than the other 3 combined. Fed-Murray is also a great match-up, Murray had to work very hard to win that match. Any combination of the top 4 is a great match-up, IMO.

What happened to Hewitt and Roddick's superiority, juan?

federer and nadal can beat each other too , federer was capable to defeated nadal in clay and in many times he forced nadal to the limits like in rome 2006 and more other matches , nadal was capable too to defeated federer in other courts.

both the age was an important factor too and nadal`s style of game in the perfect weapon against federer`s tennis too.

this rivalry was one-sided because the many matches over clay , if the matches would be in more different courts ( the harcourts of that period were more fasters not this very slow harcourts , more matches in grass ,indoor , etc...) maybe the things would be differents , but the many victorys of nadal in clay over fed gifted nadal all the confidence

??????

the h2h in in roddick`s side against novak.....

and with hewitt , never nole faces hewitt in good moments , but lleyton in his very good years would be capable to defeat anybody of this top-4 , the tennis not born with federer , nadal , djokovic and murray.

Funny how Fed needed 3-5 hours to beat a young Nadal on grass and a wrong linesjudge was required to win in the 2005 Miami 5 setter.

Similar to Federer US Open semifinals against a superior hardcourter.
of course, in those cases, there were increasingly bitter public rants from Federer after painfully real results.

Red-bot is merely keeping nadal's side of the bed warm until he returns. Also, having "Murray" and "best thing" in the same sentence is a bit of a misnomer.
