Tennis Bromances
Not sure if there's a thread already for some of the ATP Bromances (other than those between the big 4) like Isner/Querrey, Lopez/Verdasco (now broken up I think) and of course Nadal/Monaco. The latter definitely deserve a thread, though there must be others I'm forgetting...
Monaco's taking the opportunity of the break before Valencia to visit his friend - some non-cryptic tweets from them both.
Monaco:
Quote:
|
Contento de ver a mi amigo q se le extraña en el circuito / Glad to see my friend who is missed in the tour
|
Nadal
Quote:
|
Pasando el fin de semana con un gran amigo! Enjoying the weekend with a friend!
|
And then PIco on Facebook: "Let's see if you can recognise my friend."
Monaco's clearly not let the last two meetings on court - both hammerings - impact the friendship. That's a true bromance.

Re: Tennis Bromances
lol, Ash I like your style. Masha and Nole have something together, it's hard to explain, but their chemistry is just crazy. I posted this 'on another board' but sure that some people haven't seen it yet and they will find it cute.

Ferru has clearly rejected his advances which explains the bitterness.
Almagro/Ferrero has been a big Spanish bromance this year - always at each others matches and now Ferrero will apparently be coaching Almagro next year. Raonic/Lopez also seems recent (post the Verdasco split. Verdasco is only in love with himself sadly...).
And going back to Nadal/Monaco - in bed & Nadal's trousers unzipped.. Hmm...

Re: Tennis Bromances
Great to hear that Juanqui will be going into coaching a fellow player. With his tennis academy, I always thought he would be good at it.

fake time-out. cheat. gamesmanship. too noisy annoying always. excuse. boycotts threatened. always dissatisfaction cry complaints. dissatisfaction to schedule. selfish two-year ranking. bump to player. ugly protest. always exaggerated appeal of self condition. etc. overrated by fanatic arrogant blind fan
